Note contractor is to provide and supply a 1-year warranty on material and labor. SCOPE OF WORK: 1.Contractor to remove old glass from window frame, prep for new glass installation. 2.Contractor to install bronze tinted, tempered insulated glass units of equal dimension. 3.Windows shall be free from defects and leaks when finished. 4.Please notify the contact listed above if there are any deficiencies discovered during this work, so that they may be addressed in a timely manner. 5.Contractor shall warrantee parts and labor for a period of one year from date of payment for job. 6.Work shall conform to all applicable codes, manufacturers instructions, and follow industry best practices. 3-4 Pedestrian way Window Replacement. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Upon completion of window glass replacement, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the contact listed above. All quotes Must include the Quote From and Cost Proposal Sheet (breakdown of materials, labor and overhead) and MUST be received in the Broome DDSO Business Office prior to the deadline Enclosed is a request for quotation (RFQ) to perform the attached scope of work. The sign in sheet is a separate entity from the resident visitors log. When signing in, be sure to check the project name listed on the sign in sheet to ensure you are recording your attendance correctly. Failure to do so will cause you to be ineligible to submit a quote. There are no exceptions. Please write clearly for corresponding purposes and make sure you include an email address and phone number where you can be reached. Late arrivers at the site will not be allowed to sign in, participate, nor submit a quote for this project. This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Broome DDSOs interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note, all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitor log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the Maintenance Department. In the event of a tie, contract will be awarded to the Contractor whose bid was received earliest. Prevailing Wages: Schedule PRC #: 2024001679 NYS Labor law requires that all contracted employees performing maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. Certified payroll record/s MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing. Without submittal of certified payroll record/s, payment will not be made. Please check your submission for arithmetic errors and correct labor wages. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule. Tabulation of quotes will be posted to the listings on NYS Contract Reporter along with the award.
