Renovation of a fire / police facility in Carrollton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project overview: Carrollton Utilities is seeking Bids to install and replace 10 fire hydrants in its water system. The project scope involves the installation of: 10 (ten) 5-1/4" fire hydrants, up to 10 (ten) 6-inch gate valves (includes valve, valve box, and lid) as needed, and 10 (ten) each of the following: 6-inch hydrant swivel adapter 13 inches long, 3-foot screw type cast iron vale box with lid, 6 inch standard MJ bolt and gasket pack, 6 inch PVC restraint, 6 inch transition bolt and gasket pack. Carrollton Utilities will supply the materials, including hydrants, valves, gravel, and thrust blocks. Carrollton Utilities will perform site cleanup. Carrollton Utilities will award the project based on the lowest and most qualified bid. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposals. No BIDDER may withdraw his proposal within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Federal law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, age, handicap, and sex. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
