Work consists of: furnishing all labor, materials, services and equipment necessary to complete in a workmanlike manner, the planting of 224 trees in terraces and parks as outlined in bidding specifications. Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount five percent of the Bid, payable to the Treasurer of the City of Fitchburg, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if the Bid is accepted, will execute and file the proposed Agreement and Bonds within calendar 15 days after award of the Contract. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, together with an executed Agreement in form prescribed by the City of Fitchburg, will be required of the successful Bidder.
