The Work to be constructed hereunder is located along Sunset Drive within Jessup Borough, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. The Work comprises the rehabilitation of the existing rock lined swale along the South side of Sunset Drive and all appurtenances for a complete job. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or approved Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid Price, payable to Jessup Borough, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by Jessup Borough. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the project.
