Escambia County Waste Services Department is seeking to purchase surface aerators including installation services for the on-Site leachate lagoons located at Perdido Landfill. Please see detailed scope of work for additional specifications. Question Submission Deadline:February 16, 2024, 3:00pm 1. Bidder shall supply a package containing: four (4) 15-hp Surface Mechanical Aerators, control system, and all appropriate electrical cable components and cable mooring necessary to install the equipment. Any bids submitted for manufacturers, other than that as specified, must include in their bid all information needed to fully demonstrate complete compliance with requirements of these specifications. It is the bidder's responsibility to provide adequate information necessary for the complete evaluation of their proposed equipment. Escambia County reserves the right to reject any bids that are incomplete or do not demonstrate that they are equal to the requirements of these specifications. Escambia County shall be the sole judge as to the equality of any alternate manufacturer's oering. 1. All equipment included in these specifications shall be furnished by or through a single aerator equipment manufacturer who shall be responsible for the design, coordination, testing and the satisfactory performance of all the components. 2. Verify at the site the dimensions of adjoining items of work before fabrication of items herein specified. Field measurements may be taken at the site to insure proper fitting of all items. 1. Qualifications: 1. The aerators shall be a product of a manufacturer experienced in the design and fabrication of equipment of this type. 2. Services of Manufacturer's Representative: 1. Provide services of a manufacturer's factory representative, specifically trained on type of equipment specified. 1. Installation: Assist in installation and leveling of aerator and in coordinating electrical connections or any other miscellaneous coordination. 2. Start-up and acceptance testing. 3. Operation and maintenance (O&M) instructions. 2. If there are diculties in the operation of the equipment due to the manufacturer's design or fabrication, additional service shall be provided at no additional cost to Escambia County.
