Renovation of a municipal facility in Red Deer, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work of this Contract comprises the following: .1 The removal of existing ‘Johnson Controls - Metasys’ control system including all system hardware and infrastructure in its entirety .2 The removal and replacement of all existing VAV boxes with new .3 Removal and replacement of all existing heating control valves with new .4 Removal and replacement of all existing thermostats with new .4 Provide new DDC BMCS system to control air handling units, all existing BMCS controlled systems, new VAV boxes, new heating control valves (perimeter heating and VAV reheat coils), exhaust fans, makeup air units. .7 Provide power as required to suit new controls .8 Provide new air and water balancing to all supply air diffusers and VAV boxes .9 Remove compressor and all existing pneumatics .10 Survey air quantities from all existing VAV Boxes prior to demolition and allow to replace with new .11 5th floor and a portion of the 2nd floor have already had VAV Boxes and Perimeter Radiation valves upgraded from previous renovation, contractor is not required to replace with new but must tie existing into new BMCS system. See drawings for details pertaining to scope. .12 Contractor responsible for moving all furniture as required to gain access to existing equipment.
