Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bagley, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The major quantities of work are 10,280 tons of aggregate base class 1 modified and 84,480 square yards stabilized reclamation in place. Work shall be completed by August 30, 2024. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond made payable to the Clearwater County Treasurer for at least five percent of the amount of the bid. The Clearwater County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any defects or irregularities therein which may be in the best interest of the County of Clearwater. SCOPE OF WORK S-1.1 The work shall consist of crushing and placing approximately 10,280 tons of aggregate material on 6 miles of road, as shown on the map in this proposal. S-1.2 The Contractor shall find and furnish aggregate Class 1 modified in place at a rate of approximately 1420 tons per mile on CSAH 33 & 2300 tons per mile on CSAH 29 as shown on the Schedule of Bid Prices. S-1.3 After placing the aggregate the contractor will mix, stabilize, and compact the top 4" using a stabilization agent and water, the County will provide the Base One base stabilizer agent. S-2 TIME SCHEDULE Construction operations shall be completed on or before August 30, 2024. Placement of aggregate material on the roads shall not start until June 1, 2024.
