The SWVRJA is currently seeking bids for Modular Communication Booths. The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority (SWVRJA) is comprised of four facilities and currently houses approximately 1,650 inmates, both male and female. The SWVRJA is currently seeking quotes for Duramate Modular Communication Booths. An estimated delivery time along with any applicable delivery charges should be included. Unless otherwise stated, the Bidder agrees that, in the event of a price decline, the benefit of such lower price shall be extended to the SWVRJA. Nothing stated herein or attached shall bind Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority to purchase any specified amount of the product or products. Further, acceptance of a vendor's quotation will not require the SWVRJA's purchase of all the items listed. The proposal will be awarded based upon the proposal that is deemed to be the most responsive and of greatest benefit to the SWVRJA. The Offeror with the lowest price is not guaranteed award of this contract. SWVRJA may cancel this Quick Quote or reject quotes at any time prior to an award, and is not required to furnish a statement of the reasons why a particular quote was not deemed to be the most advantageous (Section 2.2-4359D of the Virginia Code). These items are requested to be received by Tuesday, April 2, 2024, but must be delivered and invoiced no later than May 31, 2024. Failure to comply could result in the SWVRJA cancelling the order and purchasing from another bidding vendor. The vendor that failed to deliver within the required period may also be charged for any increase in procurement costs.
