Question Submission Deadline:March 4, 2024, 5:00pm The purpose of this IFB is to establish a service contract with a certified Electrical contractor in the State of Florida who shall provide Electrical and related work for Seminole County (County) in a reliable and timely manner. The Contractor shall have the capability to service multiple locations throughout Seminole County at any given time. The majority of work under this contract will be electrical replacement work for residential properties. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards in the best interest of the County. The Contractor shall provide all permits, labor, material, supplies, transportation, insurance, incidentals and equipment to repair, replace or install electrical work in residential properties. The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: General maintenance, repair, or replacement of existing residential wiring systems;
Location and repair or replacement of faulty wiring;
Panel upgrades and repairs;
Troubleshooting and testing;
Wiring;
Electrical installation and repairs;
Remove and replace/repair breakers;
Replace or repair electrical outlets, fuses;
Replace or replace sensor switches, exhaust fans, ceiling fans;
Replace or repair junction boxes, covers;
Provision and installation of conduit, wiring, junction box, electrical fixtures, and electrical service equipment to repair or replace existing installations;
Repair or replacement of electrical equipment, conduits, and other equipment;
Complete revision of a residential building's electrical system.
If Contractor does not submit a quote for a particular job, the Contractor must submit a "no quote" and the reason for no bidding the job. If Contractor declines to submit a quote to the County five (5) times or more within a year period, the County might terminate the Agreement. Any questions concerning the intent, meaning and interpretations of the IFB documents including the attached Draft Agreement, shall be requested in writing, and received no later than Written requests shall be submitted via the COUNTYS e-Procurement Portal The COUNTY will not be responsible for oral instructions made by employees of the COUNTY or its authorized representatives in regard to this IFB.
