This project provides for the design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of a four-legged roundabout at the intersection of Route 15, Braddock Road, and Old Carolina Road. During the FY 2026 CIP budget development process, the budget and project phasing were realigned to allow the project's development to be completed in accordance with the Smart Scale schedule. Land acquisition was accelerated by one year to commence in FY 2026. The cost increased by $10,446,000, which is based on VDOT’s current estimate that was completed as part of the Smart Scale application. The cost increases are primarily associated with construction. The project is included in the County's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 29, 2025 , further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
