Purpose/Scope of Bid The purpose of this bid is to provide all labor, material, equipment and subcontractors to remove, dispose of and install new artificial turf for the batting cages at the Broken Arrow High School Baseball/Softball Complex. All work will be located Broken Arrow High School, 1901 E. Albany, Broken Arrow. Scope: This project will consist of removal and replacing the old turf surface in the batting cage area which is located inside the Baseball/Softball complex. Approximate size of turf area is 80 ft X 125 ft, or 10,000 square feet. The new turf surface shall be Controlled Products Number AT755 or equivalent. Equivalent turf products must be pre- approved before bid is submitted. The tentative goal is for this project to be completed the first week of July. (7-1-24 through 7-5-24) The weight benches, batting cage equipment, and furniture will be moved off of the surface by BAPS before the project begins. Bid Security in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Checks or Surety bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Performance, Statutory, and Warranty Bonds (for bids in excess of $50,000.00) It is understood that Performance and Statutory Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering faithful performance of the contract, and payment of all obligations arising there under, will be required by the Owner. A Warranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering defective workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year after acceptance of the project will be required. Premiums for the performance, statutory, and warranty bonds are included in this proposal. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The district reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids.
