The Dover School District, SAU #11, of Dover NH (hereinafter referred to as the District) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for snow plowing services for the Dover School District to begin during the 2024-2025 winter season. The selected Vendor to provide all labor, equipment, fuel and supervision necessary to appropriately remove snow, slush, sleet and ice from the following sites in the Dover School District: Dover High School located at 25 Alumni Drive, Bellamy Academy located at 50 Alumni Drive, Dover Middle School located at 16 Daley Drive and the Bellamy Junior upper parking lot on Bellamy Road near the athletic fields. Additional help may be required at Garrison Elementary School located at 50 Garrison Road, Woodman Park Elementary School located at 11 Towle Avenue and Frances G. Hopkins Elementary School at Horne Street located at 78 Horne Street to include plowing, sanding, snow removal and hauling as needed. All parking lots, bus loops, entrances, access roads and fire lanes will be free of snow and treated with salt, sand or a mix of salt and sand before 6:00 a.m. on days that school is not cancelled. It is expected to operate under the assumption that school is going to start at the regularly scheduled time, and if school is canceled or delayed the Superintendent of Schools will make the decision by approximately 5:30 a.m. Finally, damage to any landscaping by snow removal is to be repaired by the Vendor in the spring, preferably over April school vacation. The District reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the District; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the District to do so. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by Libby Simmons, Operations and Accounting Manager, at l.simmons@dover.k12.nh.us no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposal due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record.
