Such submission, if any, must be sent using the bids online system The purpose of this request is to acquire bids for the purchase and installation of flooring product and topset base at various City owned facilities. The flooring product will be required to meet the minimum standards set forth in this document, or equal to, or may exceed. Furnish all labor, materials and incidentals necessary to complete soft surface flooring and accessories as specified herein, and as needed for a complete and proper installation. All bidders shall quote in conformance with the exact specifications in this document. Any proposed substitutions must follow strictly the conditions stated for prior approval and the manufacturer must be listed on the proposal form. The award, if made, will be made to the most qualified bidder/s having the most responsible, responsive bid meeting the City requirements. The City of Fontana reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities, to accept any bid or portion thereof, award to multiple vendors, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of ninety (90) days. No Bid Surety is required. Each Bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following appropriate classification(s) of contractor's license(s), for the work Bid upon, and must maintain the license(s) throughout the duration of the Contract: Class "C-15 or a combination of Class "C" specialty Contractor's license(s) sufficient to perform the work.
