Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 7 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline Feb 21, 2024 02:30 PM NST .1 All demolition work as indicated on drawings. .2 Remove fuel tank and associated piping and dispose of in accordance with Canadian and Newfoundland environmental regulations. .3 Supply and installation of new Stand-By Diesel Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch. .4 New generator to be located on new concrete pad. .5 New generator to be connected to the existing fire alarm system for monitoring purposes throughout the building. .6 Provide new single line diagram to reflect 100% of all existing and new electrical equipment. Contractor is responsible to verify all panel sizes including voltage and phase. All panelboard feeders are to be confirmed and identified. .7 All panelboard directories that are affected in this contract shall be revised and re-typed. .8 Supply and installation of new Service Entrance Board, panels and disconnects. .9 The removal of existing electrical service and the installation of new. .10 Coordination with NF Power. .11 New chain link fence around new Stand-By Generator. .12 Provide Arc-Flash and Load Coordination Study for complete distribution system including all existing and new electrical equipment. Work of this Contract comprises of mechanical and electrical services for the removal of the existing stand-by generator, manual transfer switch, associated fuel tank including all piping, etc. and all associated wiring and conduit as indicated. As well, the supply and installation of new stand-by generator, automatic transfer switch and all conduit and wiring as indicated. Contractor shall be responsible to clean and abate any asbestos containing material (ACM), or related debris if necessary to allow for the removal and installation of all Mechanical and Electrical devices, conduits, wiring, piping, etc. as indicated on the drawings. Any work that disturbs or removes asbestos must be executed by registered asbestos abatement contractors trained in accordance with OH&S Asbestos Abatement Regulation on asbestos clean-up and abatement work. Contractor shall carry the proper environmental insurance. Any work stoppage due to discovery of asbestos will not be grounds for additional compensation. The discovery of asbestos must be brought to the attention of the project manager. If Asbestos abatement is necessary, contractor shall engage and pay for services of an experienced Environmental Consultant to perform air monitoring and/or inspection and any other related tasks as required.
