The North Jersey District Water Supply Commission (the Commission) is soliciting bids from Contractors for Pompton Lake Dam PLC update project. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 3% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as a DVOB firm The Contractor shall commence the work within seven (7) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed by the Commission. The Contractor shall achieve Final Completion within 120 days from the day of Notice to Proceed This specification provides details to the Contractor regarding the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) scope, including control panel modifications and system integration work. This specification was prepared by Jacobs Engineering for the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission (NJDWSC) which acts as the NJDEPs agent for the Tainter Gates at Pompton Lake Dam, New Jersey (the SITE). The NJDWSC's main facility is located at 1 F.A. Orechio Drive, Wanaque, New Jersey. The purpose of this specification is to describe the control system upgrades required and related systems integration scope. The Successful Bidder shall be a contractor licensed in the State of New Jersey, shall have and provide demonstrable experience in control systems and related systems integration scope. Respondents shall include references of at least five (5) projects completed of similar scope and magnitude, within the bids submitted to the Commission. In addition, the firm must own and maintain a local office within 100 miles of the Commission. The project will be conducted under a single prime contract.
