The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the replacement of existing open loop geothermal system for new closed loop system at the Community Based Corrections Facility located at 1401 South 17 th Ave, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on March 15, 2024 and end by June 17, 2024. Questions must be submitted by 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2024 to the Issuing Officer. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa.
