The deadline to submit questions related to this Invitation is February 29, 2024, at 4:30 PM CST The City of Bentonville, Arkansas is accepting formal, sealed bids from properly qualified and experienced Contractors for the construction, including the supply of necessary labor, materials and equipment, of the SW Bright Road Sidepath, for the City of Bentonville Parks and Recreation Department. The Public Improvement Project for the SW Bright Road Sidepath will include the construction of multi-use path segments along the east side of the road to connect the existing sidepath at the SE intersection of SW Bright Road and SW Edinburgh Avenue to the existing Little Osage Creek Trail at the NW corner of SW Bright Road and SW Regional Airport Boulevard in Bentonville, Arkansas. In total, the Project will include the construction of approximately 3,400 linear feet of 10' concrete multi-use path and the associated curb ramp, crosswalk, and driveway improvements. A portion of this sidepath crosses existing drainage structures south of SW Pine Avenue that will require modification to accommodate the 10' wide concrete. Additionally, this construction will include striping, signage, fire hydrant relocation, and some utility work. The Scope of Work includes all work required to complete each improvement, and all other works noted on the Project Sheets and Bid Documents for IFB-24-23. The City reserves the right to cancel this request at any time in accordance with the City's best interest, to reject any Bid received, and to waive irregularities in accordance with the City's best interest. Submitters agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City of Bentonville for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Submitter seek any recourse of any kind against the City because of such rejections. The filing of any Bids in response to this Invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
