Parks and Greenways Grass Maintenance DeSoto County is one of the fastest growing counties in Mississippi. The county is bordered by Memphis, Tennessee, to the north and covers 478 square miles with five municipalities. DeSoto County Parks & Greenways is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide grass maintenance including grass mowing, walking trail/sidewalk edging, weed eating, and blowing around fences & structures at certain DeSoto County Parks & Greenways. This contract will receive oversight and management from Department of Parks & Greenways. The county intends to select one or more vendors to provide services herein on an all-inclusive basis for the services described. It is the intent of DeSoto County to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor(s). The county reserves the right to determine the lowest and best vendor(s) on the basis of category within the bid, or in any way determined to be in the best interest of DeSoto County. DeSoto County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors appreciates your interest in our county. Withdrawal of Bids Prior to Bid Opening: A bid may be withdrawn before the opening date by submitting a written request to the Procurement Department. If time allows the bidder may submit a new bid. Bidder assumes full responsibility for submitting a new bid before specified bid time. DeSoto County reserved the right to withdraw a request for bids before the opening date. Withdrawal of Bids After Bid Opening: Bidder agrees that its offer may not be withdrawn or cancelled by the vendor for a period of ninety (90) days following the date and time designated for the receipt of bids unless otherwise stated in the bid and/or specifications.
