The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new, two-story, fully sprinkled, 22,100 square foot classroom addition on the current A.C. Corcoran campus. This bid is only open to those Prime Contractors who were pre-qualified through 23-BCG-PR-004. Corcoran Elementary School Campus in North Charleston, SC. The facility will be composed predominantly of load bearing masonry veneered with utility brick and reinforced with structural steel, joists, and metal decking. The roof system consists of a 2-ply modified bitumen system. A direct expansion cooling system will be used for the facility with a separate make-up air system providing outside air. Finishes will include, but are not limited to: SVT, ceramic tile, polished concrete flooring, carpet, acoustical ceilings, paint, casework and marker/tack boards. The package includes basic electrical services, life safety systems, information technology systems, and cable trays. In addition, sitework is part of this contract and consists of the installation of utilities, sidewalks, fencing, grassing and landscaping. Project will be required to be designed and constructed in accordance with CCSD's Educational Specifications and Design Requirements. 1.
