The classification of contractors license required in the performance of this project is: C-38 - Refrigeration Contractor. Contractor must have and maintain the license throughout the duration of the project. Preregistration of Bidders: As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with Uniform Construction Coast Account Procedures under Public Contract Code Section 22000 et seq and SDUHSD Board Policy 3311.1, prospective bidders and their subcontractors (if applicable) are required to complete in full the Districts CUPCCAA Vendor Registration Form The San Dieguito Union High School District of San Diego County, California, hereinafter referred to as the "District" hereby gives notice that in accordance with Public Contract Code Sections 22000-22045 the District will receive for the following public works project: Informal BID #2024-11 Walk-In Cooler Freezer combo at Carmel Valley Middle School Kitchen The scope of work includes demolition and removal of existing cooler/freezer combo haul away and proper disposal. Install a new combination Cooler/Freezer outside sized within this range: 14' W x 17-18'D x 8'6"H. Estimated Project Cost: $92,000 Project shall be completed by July 15, 2024. The last day of school is May 31, 2024. Pre-Bid Conference/Job Walk: Not required. None. Bid Submittal Documents: A Bidders bid submittal must include the following items, completely filled out and signed by authorized signatory personnel of the Bidders company, in order to be considered a responsive bid: Bid Form Designation of Subcontractors Non-Collusive Bidding Declaration Contractors Certification Regarding Workers Compensation Contractors Verification of Contractor and Subcontractors DIR Registration Contractors Certificate Regarding Non-Asbestos Containing Materials The above referenced forms are included in this bid document. Bidders will be responsible for the cost of reproducing the above referenced bid documents. IMPORTANT: All documents that are required to be submitted in the Bidders Bid Submittal Package must be submitted in the Districts original document format. Bidders may also submit additional supporting documents as needed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the District with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety company that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, and is authorized by the State of California, and all documents required by Code of Civil Procedure section 995.660, to the extent required by law. No bid security required. Any bidder may withdraw his/her informal bid by written request. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the bid closing date. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. The award of the contract, if made by the District, will be to the lowest responsible bidder therefore.
