Renovation of an educational facility in Tea, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of March 29, 2024, the project was awarded to Krier & Blain, but the awarded amount is not available.** The Tea Area School District is seeking sealed bids for the addition of a chiller, ice storage tanks, piping, valves and supporting equipment to integrate with the existing HVAC system including electrical service to the new system components. The Tea Area School District will act as the general contractor for the project. ISG Inc. will provide engineering design work for the project. Contact Wayne Larsen, Operations Manager, 605-351-0488 with questions or to review the building site. Expansion of existing ice storage system including new chiller, ice storage tanks, primary chilled water loop, electrical service to new components, controls integration with existing system and other Work indicated in the drawings and specifications. The Board of Education will review the bids received and act upon them at the regular or special Board meeting to be held no later than thirty (30) days following the bid opening. The Board of Education of the Tea Area School District 41-5 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to accept proposals it deems to be in its best interest, and to waive any or all informalities in bidding procedures.
