Q/A Cutoff Date: 02/23/2024 Q/A Cutoff Time: 12:00 PM EST Clearwater Housing Authority (CHA) herein solicits bids from qualified, licensed and insured Contractors interested in providing exterior painting and pressure washing services at Barbee Towers, a 150 unit high rise apartment community for seniors, located at 1100 E. Druid Rd., Clearwater, FL 33756, in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations, the requirements of CHA and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Questions regarding the attached IFB must be directed to Mikki Cvetinovic, Procurement Officer, via email mcvetinovic@clearwaterhousingauth.org. All questions must be submitted by e-mail to Mikki Cvetinovic at MCvetinovic@clearwaterhousingauth.org. Deadline for questions will be February 23, 2024 Work in general includes repairs/replacement of substrates herein listed, surface preparation for painting and application of the paint coating to the substrates and systems outlined in this specification- Included: Preparation, Priming and Re-Painting of 1100 E. Druid Road, Clearwater, Fl 33756. 1. Painting includes all previously painted Stucco, Masonry Walls, GWB walkway ceilings, walkway walls, trash rooms, common area laundry room walls and ceilings. 2. Caulk Removal and Replacement to be As Needed Existing joints (Note: Joints to be inspected include but are not limited to: bands tops and sides, Ecolumns, all wall transitions, All fixtures attached to wall, Perimeters of window frames (Metal to Masonry) on all exposed windows and Perimeters of Door Frames/Sliding Glass Doors and ANY Existing Voids))Base Bid includes 500 linear ft sealant removal and replacement. 4. Preparation, priming, and painting of exterior previously painted surfaces. 5. Preparation, priming, and painting of all Ferrous and nonferrous metal associated with repaint scope. 6. Preparation, priming and painting of all previously painted block walls and columns, pipes and hangars to be included in base bid. 7. Preparation, priming and painting of exterior sides of Storage, Bathroom and Common Area HMD Doors and individual unit doors. 8. Preparation, priming, and re-painting of all previously painted railings. 9. Option - Preparation, priming and repainting of interior stairwells. (Includes Walls, Railings, Doors and stairwell ceilings 10. Option- Preparation, Priming and repainting of Stairway Flooring and Walkway Flooring. 11. Note Base Bid to include 20 square feet of Stucco Replacement. With a Square foot Price in Excess. 12. Preparation Priming of Exterior Elevator Doors on Floors 2-12 EXCLUDED: 1) All Substrates not included in this specification. 2) Window frames and Slider Frames. 3) Unpainted doors 4) Previously painted floor all flooring 5) Storm Shutters and Light Fixtures 6) Signs attached to areas getting painted. 7) Parking Bumpers and Stripes 8) Elevator doors 9) Fencing
