The project involves replacement of two (2) existing cesspools with two (2) new septic systems and repaving of a parking lot at TMK (2) 1-4-006:003 located in Hana, Maui, Hawaii. Improvements include backfilling of existing cesspools, open trenching for sewer line installation, excavation for the installation of septic tanks and absorption fields, paving, striping, and other improvements for site restoration and safety operations. Hana at the Public Works Highways Baseyard, located at 35 Hana Hwy, Hana Hawaii Estimated construction cost is between $350,000 to $450,000. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: cash, a cashier's check, or a certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder's bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the Director of Finance in the manner, form, and amount required by Section 103D-323 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.
