No definite date for the rebid.** The work to be done under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials for mobilization and demobilization, demolition, removal and disposal of un-needed materials, installation of a new monorail door, a new hoist/trolley system and supports, new concrete pad, utility relocation inside the building, site restoration, building façade restoration, and appurtenant work for a complete and functioning installation, and site cleanup, restoration, and removal of temporary facilities. Questions will be received on online only until the cut-off date and time of Wednesday March 6, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. prevailing time. Questions received after the posted cut-off date and time may not be answered. The following professional consultant is responsible to the Authority for the project: Gilmore & Associates, Inc., 65 East Butler Avenue, Suite 100, New Britain, PA 18901, ATTN: Matthew J. Chrobocinski, P.E. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to the Authority along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of the Authority and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by the Authority. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contracts, and to waive any informality in the bids.
