The City of Norfolk is requesting proposals to re-caulk seams, buff, wax,repair any minor defects, and repaint the outside of (2) fiber glass water slides at AquaVenture Water Park located at 715 S. 1st Street, Norfolk,Nebraska, 68701. Question Deadline 02/27/2024 ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL TO THE FOLLOWING PERSONS: Regarding the AquaVenture Water Park Slides Nathan Powell, Parks and Recreation Director npowell@norfolkne.gov, Regarding the RFP Submittal: Stacey Hansen, Purchasing Agent sthansen@norfolkne.gov The firm selected by the City of Norfolk will enter into a contract with the City of Norfolk for the project that includes re-caulk seams, buff, wax,repair any minor defects and there painting of the outside of (2)fiberglass water slides. The Contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary for a complete and usable product. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or any portion thereof, and to waive informalities in any proposal. Prep and paint the outside of both slides. o Each vendor may submit a complete list of color palette options. o Re-caulking seams, buffing, waxing of the 314-ft tube slide. o Re-caulking seams, buffing, waxing of the 235-ft body slide. o Repair any minor defects. o Proposals will be reviewed by staff and the selection made based upon the quality of work and product used. o Work must be complete by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2024. o The City of Norfolk reserves the right to reject all proposals and seek new proposals if the staff feels the requirements are not met.
