The Brazos County is requesting bids from interested and qualified contractors for the demolition services and removal on approximately four (4) buildings in Brazos County. The Contractor will supply all labor, materials, and supervision necessary, including moving equipment and vehicles, to perform the job in a reasonable time frame, once the bid is approved by the Commissioners' Court. The locations are listed below: 1. Brazos County Detention Center House: 1835 Sandy Point Road, Bryan, TX 77807 2. Brazos County Juvenile Justice Center Portables (2): 1904 West State Highway 21, Bryan, TX 77803 3. Old BISD Building: 800 Texas Avenue, Bryan, TX 77803 The selected contractor will have a demonstrated record of work experience including, but not limited to, the following: demolition and removal services. Under this bid, demolition and removal services include, but not limited to site demolition, asbestos and led-based paint abatement, excavation and fill, erosion and sedimentation control, capping utilities, and removal services. These services should be bundled, and all bids should include a breakdown of each services per each property Anticipated Start at April. Anticipated Award at March. All proposers must submit, with bid, a cashier's check or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the order of Brazos County or a Bid Bond in the same amount issued by a surety, acceptable to Brazos County, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as a guarantee that the Bidder will do the work described herein at the rates stated herein. Unsuccessful bidder's Cashier's Check or Certified Check will be returned after a written request to do so has been received by the Purchasing Agent. The successful proposer must provide to the Purchasing Department, a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total contract sum within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of notification of bid award. Such bonds shall be executed by a corporate surety duly authorized and admitted to do business in the State of Texas and licensed in the State of Texas to issue surety bonds with a Best Rating. The County reserves the right to accept or reject in part or in whole, any bids submitted, and to waive any technicalities for the best interest of the County.
