The Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Complex (RCPAC) is accepting proposals from qualified public entities or private firms to provide lighting upgrades at the Martin Marietta Center for Performing Arts (MMCPA). This project requires the purchase and professional installation of lighting fixtures and supporting equipment in Meymandi Concert Hall. The purpose of this project is to upgrade all the lighting inside the house of Meymandi with contemporary and more environmentally friendly options that will provide smooth uniform and consistent, theatrical grade, dimming. To be considered responsive, contractors must respond to this solicitation in accordance with the requirements specifications commercial terms and provisions as described and set forth herein. Proposals must embrace a concept that the successful proposal will satisfy all the objectives and service specifications in the most cost effect and efficient way possible as outlined in this document. Deadline for Written Questions April 1, 2024 This project will upgrade the lighting throughout the lobby and supporting space and the exterior façade as well as consolidate control for all these areas with contemporary professional lighting and control The work to be performed and the services rendered shall commence as directed in writing by the City. In performing the services described in this Contract, it is mutually agreed that time is of the essence. Work shall be completed by March 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason and to waive any informality it deems in its best interest.
