Renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Laredo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot transportation facility; and for the addition of a 2,700-square-foot transportation facility.
Project consists of the construction of Phase 1 Terminal Improvement Program. The overall project will include renovation of approximately 10,000 square feet of the existing terminal and an expansion of approximately 27,000 square feet. The project is needed to improve the terminal level of service to meet the operational needs of the Airport. The project is included in the City of Laredo’s 2024–2028 Capital Improvement Program. As of January 28, 2026, the city has recorded design expenditures in FY 2024 and construction expenditures in FY 2024. A formal completion timeline has been disclosed. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
