The Project consists of: the construction of Phase I Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park. Construction of Phase I of Arkansas City RV Park. Construction includes but is not limited to eight (8) full service RV pads, asphalt road and drives, concrete pads, electrical service and pedestals, water and sewer plumbing, clearing & grubbing, grading. Bids will be received for a bid packages as outlined on the Bid Summary Form. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, valves and valve boxes, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The de minimis and minor components waiver apply to this contract. The Work will be substantially completed within 60 days+ final completion- 15 days after Substantial Completion Q/A- All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
