Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Working plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of March 20, 2024, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes furnishing of all labor and materials required for the construction of the Five Points Park Recreation Building. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within 240 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed Work, which have been prepared by the firms listed in the preceding paragraph, are available at the office of T & M Associates located at 1144 Hooper Avenue, Suite 202, Toms River, NJ 08753 and may be inspected by prospective Bidders during business hours. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to Trina Lindsey, RMC, Municipal Clerk, Colts Neck Township. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Colts Neck Township" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made unless and until the necessary funds have been provided by Colts Neck Township in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through Monmouth County Municipal Open Space Grant Program in part and the balance funded by Colts Neck Township. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976), vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations(N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. Colts Neck Township intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law Colts Neck Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets. ***Document Note: Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Contract Documents upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($ $130.00) payable to "T & M Associates" to defray the cost thereof. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this is between $300K and $700K. Exact estimate is not available.
