HVAC-1: MECHANICAL UPGRADES AT LAWRENCE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL, LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION (Mercer County) In accordance with Drawings and Project Manuals, Commission No. 21K040-1, dated FEBRUARY 14, 2024, together with all work incidental thereto as prepared by the SPIEZLE ARCHITECTURAL GROUP, INC. 1395 Yardville Hamilton Square Road, Suite 2A, Hamilton, New Jersey, 08691. Neither the Owner, nor the Architect will assume any responsibility for Bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law, if it is in the best interest of the Owner, as permitted by law. The Contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Owner. Should you have any questions, please contact the Architect's office at 866-974-7666. Bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the name of the project clearly marked on the front of the envelope and be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent 10% of the bid, but not more than $20,000. In addition, and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, each bid must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating it will provide said bidder with bonds in such sums as required by the statute and the Bidding Documents. Due to the special nature of the work involved that can only be seen by an in-depth visitation, bidders are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to visit the project sites as an integral and important element of the bidding process so that all bidders have an equal understanding of the scope of work involved. The Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the following trades: C032 - HVACR Subcontractors named in the Form of Bid Proposal for Structural Steel, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, and/or Electric, who perform any work on the Project must be prequalified prior to the submission of bids, pursuant to the State of New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction DPMC. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act to the Bidder and all subcontractors. Pursuant to P.L. 2009, c.315 and/or N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, all bidders and their subcontractors must provide proof of their New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue prior to award. Prospective Bidders are advised that this Project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27; Use of Domestic Materials, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-20, including any amendments and supplements thereto; N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, disclosing names and addresses for any individual owning 10% or more; N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 et. seq., Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran; and N.J.S.A. 52:34-15, regarding non-collusion.
