Bids are requested for a single prime contract for General Trades. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Hulbert Hollow Road Culvert Replacement No pre-bid conference is scheduled for this Project. All questions prior to the bid opening must be received by the close of business on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 4pm local time. Questions shall be directed to Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, & Landscape Architect DPC, to Andrew E. Kinsley, PE at kinsleya@hunt-eas.com or 607-358-1000. As bid security, each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the Town of Spencer, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the Instructions to Bidders The Owner requires that all bids shall comply with the bidding requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may, at their discretion, waive informalities in bids, but is not obligated to do so, not does this represent that the Owner will do so. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Under no circumstances will the Owner waive any informality which, by such wavier, would give one Bidder a substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all other Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening, unless a mistake due to error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This project will be funded using Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funds. The Supplementary Conditions set forth requirements for the payment by the Contractor and its Subcontractors to include Equal Opportunity Workforce, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises, and Minimum Wage Rates.
