Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lowell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.
City of Lowell is soliciting sealed proposals for the Washington Street Improvements project. Items of work includes removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer and associated structures, upgrades to existing concrete curb, gutters and sidewalk ramps. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond by a recognized surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. After the time of opening, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The City reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of City of Lowell. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $3,400,000. The Project has an expected duration of 160 days. The Owner anticipates that construction can begin no earlier than Monday, March 11, 2024. The Project shall be substantially completed on or before October 31, 2024. Final project completion shall be completed including final site restoration and clean-up on or before November 15, 2024.
