PVCSD-Bridgeview Pleasant View and Riverdale Heights Elementary Schools 2024 Playground Replacement The Project shall be bid as a single prime contract. The Project will commence on Wednesday, May 1 st , 2024 upon a Notice to Proceed, and after the award of the contract, bond documents and insurance are received from the contractor and reviewed for compliance with the bid specifications. The final completion date for the Project is Friday, August 16 th , 2024. Bidders will be required to provide a security deposit, in the form of either an approved Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety company authorized to do business in the State of Iowa, cashiers or certified check, or certified share draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, in a separate attached envelope. Bid security shall be made payable to the Pleasant Valley Community School District. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond bot in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. The Board of Education may make the contract award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting specifications. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities as allowed by law, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interests of the Pleasant Valley Community School District.
