The City of Ottawa invites Tenders for CP000741 Bilberry and Southmore Traffic Calming. The City reserves the right to consider the Contractors performance as recorded in the VPM System, in the award of future contracts. The City will support all evaluations in the VPM System with documentation recorded by the Citys Project Manager in accordance with the Citys Contract Administration and Reporting on Supplier Performance Procedures. At the time of tendering, the Tenderer shall submit, with its Tender, a deposit in the form of an electronic bid bond from the Tenderer's surety in favour of the City of Ottawa. The amount of the Tender deposit shall equal at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price. The successful Tenderer and its surety shall provide: a) a performance bond signed and sealed by the Tenderers surety; and b) a labour and material payment bond signed and sealed by the Tenderers surety; c) each in the amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the total Tender price. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
