Scope of Work: The Scope of Work pertains to miscellaneous masonry repairs to the original phase of Ban Righ Hall. Included in the repair work is the reconstruction of several parapets, grouting of voids, repointing, and roof replacement above the eastern entry of the north elevation on Bader Lane. The original phase of the building is constructed with mass masonry exterior walls. The intent of the project is to address several deteriorated areas of the exterior masonry and to replace a section of roof that is contributing to ongoing masonry discolouration and deterioration. Work will include but is not limited to: o reconstruction of east-facing parapets at the northeast corner; o repointing of deteriorated mortar joints; o replacement of damaged stone units; o grouting of large voids; and o replacement of the roof above the entrance at the east end of the north elevation. Preferred Schedule: Start Date: May 2024 Preferred Completion Date: The project to be completed as quickly as possible, with no mortar laid after September 30th, 2024.
