Henry Hansen Memorial Park Construction Services. The City seeks a full range of construction services to renovate the small 2,650 square foot Henry Hansen Park at 487 Medford Street, Somerville. The scope of work includes but is not limited to demolition, grading, new drainage structures, subsurface utilities, new sidewalks, new surfaces, seating, lighting, fencing, a drinking fountain/ bottle filler, and landscape plantings including native meadow species and new trees. The main component of the park will be a segmented concrete wall incorporating a large historic relief, memorial plaques, and lighting. Full range construction services:Renovate small 2,650 Sq.Ft park. Incl: Demolition,grading,new drainage,subsurface utilities, sidewalks,new surfaces,seating,lighting,fencing landscaping, new trees. This solicitation will be publicly available on the Procurement & Contracting Services (PCS) Department webpage https://www.somervillema.gov/procurement on and after 02/14/24 . Interested parties can also contact the PCS department during the below-noted City Hall hours of operation.
