Reference Number 0000264566 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/20 03:00:00 PM MST Pricing Lump sum NTPC requires the services of carpenters for building maintenance at all our Hydro sites and power plants in the regional communities on an as and when basis for a two-year term. All work is to be performed or supervised by a Journeyman Carpenter including any new personnel the successful bidder hires during the duration of this contract. Under the awarded contract, all work must be pre-authorized, in writing, by the project manager. In cases of emergency, authorization may be issued after the verbal request for services. The authorization must be attached to the invoice for payment. 1 Carpentry services to inspect, adjust, refurbishment, repair, modify, replacement, supply & Installation of components in/on/around facilities, assets grounds or structures at NTPCs facilities within the region. All work is to be performed by a journeyman carpenter or supervised by a journeyman carpenter. Works will normally be completed in Yellowknife but may also include works at Snare, Bluefish, Taltson, WhaTi, Gameti, Behchoko, Lutsel K'e, Fort Resolution, Pine Point, Buffalo Junction, Sand Hills, Fort Smith and Hay River. Regular Hourly rates for Journeyman Carpenter and Helpers. To include an hourly fixed rate for the first 8 hours worked per day, for any works including travel time and waiting time. Rates shall be inclusive of normal safety equipment, hand tools and testing equipment that may be necessary to perform these works. Overtime Hourly rates for Journeyman Carpenter and Helpers. To include an hourly fixed rate for hours more than 8 per day, for any works including travel time. The Contractor shall provide all materials required to complete the works at a cost-plus rate as outlined in this submission. All purchased and delivered materials surplus to the works shall be left at site in a location identified and approved by the project monitor. Rental equipment if required, shall be provided at a cost-plus rate as outlined in this submission Travel costs for all communities outside of Yellowknife shall be at a cost-plus basis as outlined in this submission.
