As of March 21, 2024 this project was awarded to Cutler Repaving Inc, with the awarded amount of $1,534,011.85 This project will provide the labor and equipment needed to repave approximately 207, 180 square yards of streets. The project proposes to remediate pavement along various locations throughout the City. This project proposes to resurface pavement by milling, salvaging, recycling, and relaying existing and new asphalt. Existing storm sewer inlets, manholes and additional appurtenances are adjusted accordingly. An electronic copy of your Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, (Proposal Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal price shall be submitted as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the Respondent will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Original Proposal security shall be submitted by the apparent low Respondent within two business days via a sealed envelope. Failure to submit the Proposal security shall be grounds for disqualification.
