Reference Number 0000263555 In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Proposals from Design-Build Teams to provide the following professional services: design and construction of the Junior Non-Commissioned Member Training Accommodation Facility at CFB Esquimalt, British Columbia. Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFP. The objective of this RFP is to select the Proponent with the highest total score who will be selected to negotiate a Contract with DCC. A key role of CFB Esquimalt is in support of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) Force Generation efforts to train and develop sailors for its current and future fleets. The RCN relies to a large extent on the effectiveness and suitability of the Navy's training infrastructure. Currently, Junior NCM dining/kitchen and accommodations are primarily housed in sixty-five plus year old infrastructure, Building NAD 34 built in 1952, which is in very poor condition. The intent of the project is to replace Building NAD 34 with a new purpose-built high-rise facility. Licensing Requirements As required by the Design Services, the Design-Build Team members and Key Personnel shall be, or be eligible to be, licensed, certified or otherwise authorized to provide the necessary professional services to the full extent that may be required by provincial law in the Province of British Columbia. DCC reserves the right to request clarifications or confirmations from any or all Proponents regarding any aspect of their Proposal submissions. In the event such clarifications or confirmations are requested, the Coordinator, Contract Services will make the request. The request for clarification and/or confirmation will be directed to the individual named as the Proponent's contact in the Proponent's Proposal.
