Construction of two 5MG reservoirs located at 7271 West 11800 South, South Jordan, Utah. JVWCD has contracted with Jacobs to perform the reservoir predesign, design, and construction management. The Work of this Contract comprises the construction of the 11800 South Zone C Reservoirs and generally includes construction of two 5 MG drinking water reservoirs. The Owner intends to award a single contract for construction of the Project. The Work generally includes the following: o Construction of two 5 MG reservoirs that are constructed to a Type I, AWWA D110 Wire Wound, Circular, Prestressed Concrete Water Tank standard. o Construction of buried vaults, yard piping improvements, and connections to transmission piping. o Construction of a chlorine chemical feed building. o Excavation to construct the new tank within the limits of the site; backfill and grading; management of contaminated soils within select areas of the site; construction of new access roads, and other site improvements. o New reservoir instrumentation and controls. Update electrical service feeds. Site landscaping. All work shall be Substantially Complete by May 1, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price.
