Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Traverse City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: 1. Site Work a. General site removals include installation of temporary SESC measures, selective clearing, removal of existing septic system and appurtenances and installation of new system, removal of existing stone fireplace within the influence of work. Contractor responsible for proper disposal of materials. b. Construction of approximately 1,800 square feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk extensions to accommodate site improvements. c. Parking improvements to include HMA application of gravel loop and gravel parking, to include stripping and ADA compliant signage. d. General site restoration including irrigation, topsoil, seed and mulch and SESC control measures. 2. Infrastructure a. Installation of a prefabricated, pre-plumbed restroom building and construction of concrete foundation pad. i. Building to include lighting, heat, ventilation, floor drains, stormwater management (i.e. gutters, downspouts, etc.) b. Removal and replacement of existing septic tank and drainfield to accommodate existing infrastructure and restroom building. c. Restroom building site utilities including water, sewer, and electrical services. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Charter Township of Garfield, 3848 Veterans Drive, Traverse City, MI 49684 Mondays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount and form as specified by the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Bids not accompanied by a proper Bid bond or certified check in the amount stated in the documents, or received after the above date and time will not be considered. Fax transmittals of Bids or Bid bonds will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 90 days after the actual date of Bid opening.
