The Fargo Public Works Department within the City of Fargo is requesting proposals for water main repair materials, miscellaneous water distribution materials, fire hydrants and fire hydrant parts, and miscellaneous street materials. Upon completion of the evaluation by the selection committee an order may be placed. The City of Fargo reserves the right to cancel this RFP in writing or postpone the date and time for submitting proposals at any time prior to the proposal due date. The City of Fargo by this RFP does not promise to accept the lowest cost or any other proposal and specifically reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any formal proposal requirements, to investigate the qualifications and experience of any Proposer, to reject any provisions in any proposal, to modify RFP contents, to obtain new proposals, to negotiate the requested services and contract terms with any Proposer, or to proceed to do the work otherwise. The RFP is divided into 4 sections, Section (1)-Repair Sleeves, Section (2)-Miscellaneous Materials, Section (3)-Fire Hydrants and Fire Hydrant Parts and Section (4)-Miscellaneous Street Materials. Each of the sections will be totaled and the lowest proposer will be based on the total calculated from all sections. The City of Fargo intends to select a primary and secondary vendor. The quantity specified below is a previous (3) year average of materials used by the City of Fargo. The specified yearly average is for comparing proposals only and is NOT a guaranteed purchase. The proposed Unit Price will be honored through March 5, 2024. Selection of vendor will be based on 50% price, 25% previous work experience and 25% stocking availability. The City of Fargo also reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, and to waive any minor technicalities. If the products or materials are not available at the time of purchase, the City of Fargo has the right purchase said products and materials from the next lowest submitter that has availability
