Renovation of an educational facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the work consists of: Replacement of all four of the projection screens in each of the two lecture halls of the North Chemistry Tower (Rooms S413 & S429), to meet the department needs and provide better viewing angles. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. This project involves the Replacement of all four of the projection screens in the two lecture halls of the North Chemistry tower (Rooms S413 and SB429), to meet the departments needs and better align with standard AV screen sizing for these spaces. Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before the date set for bid opening Question Deadline 03/05/2024
