Eton St., Birmingham, MI 48009 OR bmcgaughey@bhamgov.org The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to provide lawn care, mowing and seasonal clean ups of approximately 64 City-owned parks, properties, and street-right of-ways including Woodward Avenue Median. Additionally, the bid will include the mowing of private lots that have been determined to be in violation of the City's Grass and Noxious Weeds ordinance. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of Six (6) months after the date set for the opening of bids. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bidder's bond or bank draft in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid price, payable to the City of Birmingham, Michigan, The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, waive informalities, or accept any proposal, in whole or in part, it deems best. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the next most qualified Contractor if the successful Contractor does not execute a contract within ten (10) days after the award of the proposal.
