Sanitary Sewer Replacement, SE 55th street to SE 59th Street From South Bryant Avenue to Empire Boulevard The Work herein contemplated consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary and required for the complete installation of mains and appurtenances. This will include, but not limited to the following major items and appurtenances. (1) Sewer Main Installation (2) Connection to Existing Manholes (3) Activation of New Mains and Appurtenances (4) Transfer of Services (5) Cut and Plug Existing Mains (6) Street and Driveway Repair (7) Right-of-Way Restoration and Cleanup (8) Provide "As-Built" Plans with GPS As Built Survey (9) Cut and Abandon Existing Mains Wastewater Pipeline Contractor "C" Contract duration: One Time Purchase Contract renewal: Not Applicable Prices good for: Not Applicable Estimated Amount: $500,515.00 To bid on this Contract, the Bidder must be prequalified by the City of Oklahoma City's Prequalification Review Board on the Bid Date and Bid Time as: Wastewater Pipeline Contractor "C". In addition, any work which a prequalification classification has been established, must be performed by persons or entities prequalified in those classifications. All potential bidders are responsible to read all Bidding Documents and submit questions in writing through the electronically by 10:00:00 a.m. 27th day of February 2024. All additional questions in the meeting will be recorded in an addendum. Bidder must complete the Project in accordance with the Bidding Documents, Addenda, and Oklahoma City Standard Specifications for Construction of Public Improvements within 180 calendar days of date as stated in the Work Order). The Maintenance Bond shall be in favor of Awarding Public Agency and shall be for a period of Two (2) years in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Additional information is contained in the Bidding Documents. Prior to bidding this Project, Bidders must carefully examine the Bidding Documents, Addenda (if any) and the City of Oklahoma City Standard Specifications for Construction of Public Improvements. These Standard Specifications are incorporated by reference into the Bidding Documents except as expressly superseded by the Bidding Documents. Bidder is responsible for monitoring the electronically to determine whether addenda were issued and for opening and complying with all addenda Bid Security is required unless specifically exempted. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security, in the form of an electronic copy Bid Bond and/or irrevocable letter of credit or a certified check and/or cashier's check. A certified check and/or cashier's check must be delivered by bid receipt time in the City Clerks office. The amount of the Bid Security shall be five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. For the purposes of this section, Bid shall mean the highest combination of the base Bid plus all alternate Bids. STATUTORY BOND such sum being equal to 100% of the contract price for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we, and each of us, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and assigns, themselves, and its successors and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. PERFORMANCE BOND such sum being equal to 100% of the contract price for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we, and each of us, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and assigns, themselves, and its successors and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. MAINTENANCE BOND sum being equal to the contract price for a period of two (2) years for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we, and each of us, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and assigns, themselves, and its successors and assigns, joint and severally, firmly by these presents. DEFECT BOND said sum being equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as provided herein for a period of two (2) years. We, as Contractor and Surety, bind ourselves and each of us, our heirs, executors, administrators, trustees, successors and assigns, jointly and severally. REJECTION OF BIDS The Bids will be considered by the Trust. The Trust shall have the right to reject any or all Bids. By Resolution No. 93-01, adopted June 22, 1993, the Trust declared its intent to reject a Bid not accompanied by the required Bid Security, and/or a properly signed Bid Form, and/or properly completed, signed and notarized Bid affidavits and/or by other item(s) required by the Bidding Documents, and may reject a Bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular. The Trust shall have the right to waive immaterial defects or irregularities in a Bid received and to accept the Bid, which, in the Trust's judgment, is in its own best interest Time of Completion. Work on this project shall be completed on or before the total contract time of One Hundred Eighty (180) CALENDAR DAYS, counted from the start date specified in the work order. The Contractor must begin work no later than ten (10) calendar days after the start date. The Contractor may not work on Saturdays, Sundays, or Official City of Oklahoma City Holidays. However, Saturdays, Sundays, or Official City of Oklahoma City holidays will be counted as Calendar Days. Question & Answer deadline is extended until February 29, 2024 at 5:00pm.
