Question Deadline 04/05/2024 at 12:00 PM AKT Remove existing roof assembly in its entirety, install new insulated metal roof panels, remove and replace mechanical and electrical components. If the contract contains State of Alaska wage rates and a federal wage decision, the Contractor and all Subcontractors shall comply with both wage decisions. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall be responsible for paying the higher pay rate between the state and federal wage decisions. Additionally, the Contractor and all Subcontractors shall be responsible for providing certified payrolls, to the State of Alaska Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division on a weekly basis, using the appropriate agency’s form(s) and, upon request to the Contract Administrator. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in a Bid or during award of the Contract. Bidders shall accompany each Bid with a certified check, cashier’s check, or Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, if the total amount of the bid is $100,000 or more, with surety acceptable to the Municipality. If the total bid amount of the bid is less than $100,000, accompany the bid with a bid guarantee, in the form specified above, in an amount of $1,000. Bid Guarantees for the three (3) low Bidders will be held until the Contract is executed. All other Bid Guarantees will be returned within seven (7) days of the bid opening.
