That space is not sufficient for the volume of work that is being conducted at the facility and as such a new facility is required. It is also an opportunity to develop a facility in Thunder Bay that will allow multiple programs to cohabit in the same area. For this feasibility study, the following programs will be included. Ontario Forensic Pathology Services/Office of the Chief Coroner (OFPS/OCC) Center of Forensic Sciences (CFS) Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) Animal Welfare Services (AWS) Ontario Police College (OPC) The functionality and services provided by each of these programs are described in the scope of work for better understanding.
