The City of Westland is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified vendors for professional services related to the Repair of Baseball Field Lighting at Jaycee Park. Replace each baseball field light determined to be non-operational at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Please be advised that Jaycee Park has a total of two (2) baseball fields. The City's goal is to have lighting for each baseball field fully operational by March 31, 2024. Repair any wiring to impacted poles as needed Alternative Pricing Bidders are encouraged to also provide pricing to convert both baseball fields to LED entirely. Alternative pricing must also include the replacement of each pole and necessary wiring upgrades. This meeting is to be held to brief prospective Respondents after the RFP has been issued but before proposals are submitted. Generally, the purpose is to explain and clarify complicated specifications and requirements. Prospective Respondents are encouraged to attend the meeting and to submit written questions in advance so that prepared answers can be delivered during the conference. Remarks and explanations at the conference will not qualify the terms of the solicitation. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing.
