The successful vendor will furnish cleaning service to Mesker Park and Wesselman Park Shelters along with cleaning and locking/unlocking the Park & Recreations restrooms, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any one or all proposals, or any part of any proposal, to waive any informality in any proposal, and to award the purchase in the best interest of the City of Evansville, Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Board of Parks Commissioners. Furthermore, the Board reserves the right to hold the proposal of the three (3) lowest vendors for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the time of the due date of proposal. The City of Evansville formally adopted a Minority and Women Business Utilization Plan illustrating a commitment to achieving significant utilization of Minority and Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE) in the community's purchasing efforts. Goals have been established to provide an atmosphere of equal opportunity for all Responders and to prohibit discrimination in all aspects of the public operations including the purchasing of products, services, and public works contracts. It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a 12-month agreement with a vendor for Parks & Recreation Shelters & Restrooms Cleaning. The awarded contract from the CITY will be in effect for 24 months from date of award and may be extended for up to three (3) extensions of one (1) year, for a total of four (5) years upon mutual agreement of both parties. We ask that pricing be held for a minimum of the initial 24-month agreement. The City further reserves the right to waive any and all formalities or irregularities in quoting.
